ABOUT COORDINATORS
WNYF Municipal and District Assembly Coordinators will support the overall governance of the WNYF in their respective Districts/ municipality. She/he is accountable to the Executive board as is the official liaison between the WNYF and their district / municipality. The Municipal and District Assembly Coordinators are an advocates for young people in their assembly, must be a committed advocate and ‘ambassador’ for the foundation in the municipality / district and must be willing to support their youth. The Representatives will coordinate and promote the work of the foundation at the district / municipal level.
- To be the advocate for young people in their Assembly.
- To promote the WNYF through formal and informal networks at district / municipal level
- Support the work of the WNYF in achieving its objectives outlined in the Strategic Plan
- To serve as a trustee for the WNYF in his/her district / municipality
- Prepare for and attend Executive committee meetings
- To plan and conduct District / municipal meetings
- To ensure proper information for the members in the district / Municipality
- Promotes intra- district / municipal networks with other and Non-Governmental Organizations
- To build a closer relationship with governments, donors, Civil society organizations and other stakeholders in the District / Municipality
- To Support advocacy, lobbying and mainstreaming for youth development work within the district / municipality
- To represent WNYF at District / Municipal events
